What is Sign in Safe?
Sign in Safe is an online Travel Safety and Itinery planning application. By combining these two factors, managing the travel of staff becomes not only a lot easier, but a lot safer too.

Where can it be used?
Sign in Safe is accessible anywhere there is an Internet connection. So it may be used in almost any office, or in any Internet cafe around the world.

How could Sign in Safe help my business?
In two important ways. Firstly it will help you to manage the travel of your staff. With a few simple clicks you can see who is travelling where, pull up detailed itineries, and even perform keyword searches to target individual travellers. The system is simple to use, and is perfect for any size business.

Secondly, by having detailed travel intelligence delivered to homebase and to travellers, you can keep abreast of all the issues that may hinder or endanger an employee.

What happens if a traveller fails to Sign in Safe?
On the Administrator homepage, the travel status box will turn red. This will alert you that one or more travellers hasn't Signed in Safe. With one click you may obtain a list of all travellers who are overdue to Sign in Safe.

You also have the option of having an email delivered to the registered administrator if a traveller fails to Sign in Safe. This is a great backup to have, and means you don't have to log into your account every day to see if everyone is OK.

It is simple to pull up the details of any traveller, and view their predetermined Action Plan. This may be a list of important people to contact, or a particular person in an embassy, or whatever you decide for that traveller.

We also have a comprehensive page of web links that will assist you in contacting the right people in case of a travel emergency.

What if a traveller doesn't have access to the Internet?
If you know the traveller is safe, the Administrator has the option to manually overide the Sign in Safe. This is useful in areas where Internet access is limited, and you are relying on phone calls back to homebase. So, the system works just as effectively if the traveller is in an area that has limited communication.

May I upload the travel policy for my company?
Yes, you have unlimited space to upload the contents of your Travel Policy. If a registered traveller makes a request to travel via the Sign in Safe site, they will first be taken to the Policy page, and asked to click a button agreeing that they have read the Policy before they may input their itinerery.

You may edit your Travel Policy at any time.

Are there any additional costs?
No, once you have joined Sign in Safe, there are no hidden costs.

If you wish to upgrade your account to allow more travellers, then of course the relevent membership fees will apply.

May I change my membership?
Yes, just send an email to admin@signinsafe.com, and we will be happy to take care of that.
